Queen Mary students demonstrate skill at Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot 2009
228 universities from 57 countries took part in Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, which is held annually in Vienna. The aim of the moot is to foster the study of international commercial law and arbitration for resolution of international business disputes and to train tomorrow's leaders in methods of alternative dispute resolution. The team finished in the final 32 teams in the largest moot court competition in the area of international law. Queen Mary LLM student Shabana Saleem received an honorable mention for her oral advocacy skills. A Queen Mary team won the competition in 2006.
