The University of Westminster launches its new LLM in European Union Law
With its strong international focus, the School of Law at the University of Westminster is ideally equipped to develop the new specialist LLM in European Union Law.
This programme aims to provide students with a deep, critical knowledge and understanding of EU law as well as specific areas of this unique legal system (including EU criminal law, internal market, human rights, external relations, and EU enlargement). The programme will also develop critical analytical skills and the ability to apply EU law in everyday domestic and judicial practice. The flexible variety of optional modules means that students can follow areas that are of most academic and professional interest to them.
Graduates of the LLM in European Union Law will have enhanced knowledge of EU institutional and substantive law, and will be well placed to pursue positions in the Bar, consultancy, the public sector, legal and professional training, the diplomatic service, international organisations, national and EU institutions.
