UEA is offering scholarships for its MRes in Social Science Research Methods

The University of East Anglia (UEA) is offering scholarships worth £4,500 for students starting its MRes Social Science Research Methods programme in October 2011.

The MRes Social Science Research Methods degree is offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences at UEA and is an advanced programme of research training. On this postgraduate programme students will study core faculty modules that include generic social science research skills, broad based training in social science research methods, and advanced training in qualitative and quantitative methods. Students will also receive school-based research skills and subject-based training.

The MRes Social Science Research Methods is offered in Business and Management; Education and Lifelong Learning; Law; Social Work and Social Policy; and Psychology.

The scholarships include tuition fees (UK/EU rates: £4,500) and a generous Maintenance Stipend. The awards are available for October 2011 registration on a full-time basis only.

The scholarships are awarded to students on an academic basis taking into consideration background and exceptional academic ability. Applications are invited from those who have or expect to achieve a 2.1 degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
