University of Law appoints new Director for Leeds centre
The University of Law has appointed a new Director to lead its Leeds centre. This new flagship centre only opened to students this month – and new Director Tom Macdonald joins the team from Leeds Metropolitan University where he was Head of the Law School.
Tom Macdonald is a former student of the University of Law, and speaking of his new appointment he says, “I’m thrilled about joining ULaw and leading the new centre at this exciting time for the University. I’m looking forward to supporting all our students on their educational journeys and promoting our work in the region.” He continues, “Leeds and the surrounding region is currently under-served in terms of legal education and our new centre will offer a dynamic and modern learning space, which mirrors the future working environment of our students.”
CEO and President of the University of Law, John Latham, explains, “The launch of our Leeds centre is a key step in our development and we’re delighted to have Tom on board. His extensive experience of legal education and training as well as his knowledge of the Leeds market makes him a natural choice as director of our newest centre.”
