University of MississippiThe University of Mississippi’s School of Law has announced the launch of a new LLM program in Air and Space Law, which will be introduced this autumn, at the start of the 2013/14 academic year.

This futuristic course is the first, and so far the only, combined Air and Space Law postgraduate program in the US, being offered by an ABA (American Bar Association)-accredited law school.

The Air and Space Law LLM comprises six core modules in Comparative National Space Law, International Space Law, Private International Air Law, Public International Air Law, US Aviation Law and US Space Law, as well as two electives in International Telecommunication Law and Space Security Law. In order to graduate, students will be required to complete three thesis-writing courses and submit a thesis of publishable standards.

The Air and Space LLM program is open to US-trained and foreign-trained law graduates and is available part time or full time, online or on campus, making it very accessible.
