University of Vienna offers LLM in International Legal Studies
The University of Vienna is offering a unique LLM in International Legal Studies which combines two core areas of international economic law – trade and investment.
The law faculty at Vienna comprises first class scholars and practitioners of international law, including former members of the UN’s International Law Commission. The areas of trade and investment tackled in the LLM International Legal Studies reflect the growing importance of international trade and investment law, in particular the dispute settlement mechanisms under the World Trade Organisation (WTO) as well as investment arbitration.
The LLM in International Legal Studies is offered as a one-year full-time or two-year part-time programme and its aim is to deepen the students’ knowledge of fundamental structures and specific issues in international law.
It comprises four modules, these are:
Fundamental Issues of International Law
