Warwick Law School awarded European Commission funding
Warwick Law School has been awarded Jean Monnet Module funding from the European Commission’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency. This prestigious funding has been provided to enable Warwick Law School to run a series of modules on the theme of European Intellectual Property Law and Policy.
These two new modules, ‘European Union Intellectual Property Law & Policy’, and ‘Developing Intellectual Property Law & Policy in the EU and Beyond’ place the UK’s intellectual property laws in their European context.
As the UK’s relationship with the EU enters a period of change following the Brexit referendum, it essential for lawyers and policy makers to have an understanding of the EU’s policies and the process of EU trade negotiations.
These new modules will also complement the new LLM in International Commercial Law, which is due to begin running at Warwick Law in September 2017.
Jean Monnet Activities are designed to promote excellence in teaching and research in the field of European Union studies worldwide. For more information, please click here.
